KeyBase
For urgent communications that require maximum confidentiality, please contact us at https://keybase.io/letsguard_it and install the open-source KeyBase software on a trusted device. Our communications will be automatically protected from interception through end-to-end encryption.
Why KeyBase?
KeyBase software is, first and foremost, open-source: this means it can be thoroughly inspected by anyone, and any security issue can be quickly and efficiently fixed by the open-source developer community (in 2020, control was transferred to Zoom). There are many other tools with similar functionality, including newer ones actively under development by the open-source community, such as Element and Signal. However, KeyBase stands out for its extreme ease of use, a wide range of features, and no additional channels (e.g., email or phone number) are required to create a (free) account.

Why email and how confidential is it?
Email is still one of the most popular (if not the most popular) communication mechanisms, with an estimated 4.5 billion users worldwide. However, email exchange protocols date back to the early days of the Internet and were not designed with security in mind. For example, any email communication is normally readable in plain text by service providers (both sender and recipient).
To address this and several other issues, letsguard.it uses the Proton service. If you don't already have one, you can also create a free ProtonMail account. This way, our communications will be automatically protected from interception through end-to-end encryption (not even the provider, Proton, will be able to read them).
Please note: Even when using ProtonMail, end-to-end encryption only applies to the message body: it excludes message headers such as subject, sender, and recipient.
